About Me
Hello, I'm Nikki.
A psychiatric nurse practitioner with nearly two decades of nursing experience — and a deep commitment to the people I care for.

"I wanted to be back at the bedside."
My journey in nursing began in the fast-paced environment of a Los Angeles emergency room, where I served as a clinical supervisor. After years of working to climb the career ladder in hospital administration, I realized I missed working directly with patients — and wanted to fill the gap I saw in psychiatric care.
That realization prompted me to pursue a career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Nursing has provided me with a unique life-learning environment, and I am deeply committed to the nursing process and caring theory.
My goal is to provide personalized, evidence-based treatments that prioritize each patient's unique needs — and to actively contribute to reducing the stigma of mental illness. Creating meaningful, therapeutic relationships with patients is at the core of my practice.

Roots in California,
home in Ohio.
I was born in Cincinnati but lived most of my life in California. I'm excited to be back in Ohio and reconnect with my family. I live with my husband and two dogs, and enjoy a more rural lifestyle — vegetable gardening and watching the bald eagles near my home.
I have five children who live all over the world — North Carolina, Colorado, California, and Australia.
